Feedback on self tapes and monologues

If you’re unsure about whether your self-tape or monologue  is as good as it can be, who do you ask?

You could ask on a public Actors’ Forum – but sometimes the advice you get back can be unhelpful.  There will be those who will tell you it’s great – regardless of its quality – and there will be comments from people who don’t know much about what casters hope to see.
There will also occasionally be comments from people who like to provoke and are deliberately unkind.  None of this is very helpful.

If you would like  objective, informed and constructive feedback from someone who has watched many hundreds of showreels, self-tapes and monologues and who has experience as an actor, director and adjudicator, here’s what I can offer:

Comment/feedback on your delivery (your acting ), length of piece, choice of material and technical aspects.  30GBP – expect around 500 or more words feedback – together with some general  hints and tips.

What you need to do:
If you are unsure about how to make a self-tape, have a look at the information page on self-tape recording before you start.  Once you’ve made the tape you can then upload it to  Vimeo or Youtube  – make the link private if you don’t want everyone to be able to see it – and send the link with your payment.

In  the note section, please include your name and a link to  Vimeo or Youtube .  Your feedback will be sent to the email address linked to your Paypal payment.

NB:  you don’t have to have a Paypal account to pay via the Paypal portal, you can use a debit/credit card .

If you have anything in particular you would like me to concentrate on then please send me a message via the Contact page as well (make sure you include the name you have put in the Paypal notes).

If feedback is urgent, let me know and I will do my very best to get a report back to you the same day.
